• Participant information: Names, email addresses, and/or phone numbers added by group organizers

• Create and manage gift exchange groups
• Send email notifications about your gift exchange assignment
• Send SMS/text message notifications about your gift exchange assignment

SMS/Text Messaging Policy

If a phone number is provided for a participant, we may send SMS/text messages to that number. By providing a phone number when adding a participant to a Pollyanna gift exchange, the organizer confirms they have obtained consent from that participant to receive SMS notifications.

We use Twilio, a third-party service provider, to send SMS messages. Your phone number may be shared with Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering these notifications. Twilio's privacy policy can be found at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Email Communications

We send transactional emails related to your gift exchange, including:

• Confirmation when you create a group (organizers only)
• Gift exchange assignment notifications when names are drawn

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. You will only receive emails directly related to gift exchanges you are participating in.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information with:

• Service providers: We use Twilio for SMS delivery and Resend for email delivery. These providers only receive information necessary to deliver messages.
• Other participants: Your name and wishlist are shared with your assigned Secret Santa within your gift exchange group.

Data Retention

We retain gift exchange data for up to 12 months after the exchange date to allow participants to access their assignments and wishlists. After this period, data may be deleted.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP
